Books and Videos

The Community Borrowers card entitles you to borrow one item at a time from the general, juvenile, oversized, literacy library, pro-con, or leisure reading collections. The loan period is three weeks with one renewal for books and one week with one renewal for videos. You may not check out reserve or circulation desk material.  You will not be able to use interlibrary loan services.

Magazines and Journals

As with GCC users, printed magazines and journals must be used in the library.

Electronic access to magazines and journals may be obtained by using one of the public access computer terminals located near the west entrance; however, no printing is available from these stations.

Computers/Internet Access

Use of the computers in the Computer Commons area is restricted to those who have an activated eGCC account through enrollment in a course at GCC. The eGCC account presents students with an integrated suite of productivity tools and a wide range of network resources, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and internet access.

There are computers for quick look up of the catalog and databases at the west end of the library near the Information Desk. These are available for anyone; however, printing of documents cannot be done from these stations.
