In order to facilitate off-campus research and online searching, the LMC subscribes to a selection of Current Issues Databases.

Collection Description

The Current Issues & Pro/Con collection brings together resources on contemporary topics.

As the titles of the various series (listed below) imply, many of the essays support a position on an issue or topic.

Some, such as CQ Researcher, Information Plus, and Contemporary World Issues, are good sources for background information, and the others provide argumentative essays.
