How to Find Leisure Reading Materials

Searching & Browsing via the Library Catalog

Although Leisure Reading book titles can be found in the library catalog, it is not possible to show a list of Leisure materials ordered by author, title or year of publication.  You may search for favorite authors, a particular title or keyword, but the collection is designed to be browsed in person. 

Collection Description

The Leisure Reading Collection is a selection of recent best-selling novels and non-fiction titles provided for the enjoyment of staff, faculty, and students. 

The Leisure Reading Collection is divided into three sections, arranged on the shelf in alphabetical order by author including:

• Fiction titles (which have a blue dot on the spine)
• Non-Fiction titles (which have a red dot)
• Audio Book titles

These materials are brought into the library on a lease basis, thereby allowing a continuous infusion of new titles on a monthly basis.  Older selections are either moved into the General Collection, if appropriate, or returned to the leasing company.
