How to find Literacy Materials

• Browse the Literacy Library Collection
  There is a small browseable collection of books suited for new readers located on the tall book shelves located near to the library classroom.
  
  
• Other Literacy Reading Materials
  Other titles in the circulating collection are suitable for improving reading skills of those learning English.  These books are available in both the General Collection and the Juvenile (Children's) Collection.

Search Tips

Because a keyword search cannot be limited to the Literacy Collection, it is not possible to search or browse the collection remotely.  However, you may search for a particular author, title, or keyword by combining the author/title/keyword with the word “readers” in the search box.  Please ask for help at the Information Desk for additional assistance.

Collection Description

The Library Media Center’s Literacy Library contains materials whose intended audience is adults who are in the earlier stages of learning to read and write English.  These materials primarily support the campus Reading Program and noncredit classes offered by the Center For Learning.
