Note: Currently, the FMG Films on Demand collection is the largest streaming video collection to which the LMC subscribes.  It includes publications from the Films Media Group, Films for the Humanities and Sciences, and Meridian Education Corporation.   In the future, users will be able to search across all streaming video collections included in the LMC Online Catalog.

Search Tips

Currently, there is no way to efficiently search across all streaming video titles in the LMC collection.  We expect that this capability will be coming soon.

Most streaming videos include the keywords "electronic resource", "streaming video", or "online video" in their descriptions.  You can try adding these terms to any search.

Collection Description

The LMC at GCC collection includes streaming video from a variety of resources including government sources, PBS Video, and the FMG Films on Demand collection. 

Currently, the FMG Films on Demand collection is the largest streaming video collection to which the LMC subscribes.  It includes publications from the Films Media Group, Films for the Humanities and Sciences, Cambridge Educational, Shopware, and Meridian Education Corporation. More than 60 titles area available as of fall 2007.

The LMC also provides access to GCC productions including audio and video of campus events, promotional clips, etc.
