Literature criticism is the term given to studies that define, analyze, describe, interpret, and evaluate works of literature. Most literary criticisms are in the form of a critical essay, though in-depth reviews are often considered literary criticisms. Literary criticisms may examine a particular literary work of an author or the entirety of the author's writings. Finding literary criticism is often difficult.
