Several databases are listed below that offer access to information about NGOs and nonprofit organizations from varying perspectives. While some databases are general in nature -- indexing a variery of publications from various disciplines -- others are focused. For instance, the CINAHL database will provide access to what the medical community has to say about NGOs. Likewise, GreenFILE may offer the environmental perspective while Business Source Premier will include the business angle. News databases such as LexisNexis and the Arizona Republic will demonstrate how a nonprofit or NGO has been covered in local, national or internatioanl news.
Books and eBooks Search the library catalog for information about NGOs and nonprofit organizations. Larger organizations may be described in books and book chapters; be sure to search for organizations by name in the library catalog.
