Currently, the library provides 3 ways to search for materials held at Maricopa Community College District libraries including the libraries at GCC Main and GCC North.  Each has their advantages and disadvantages.

• ADVANCED SEARCH (eLibrary Interface)
  + Loads quickly
  + Many advanced search options
  -  Requires exact spelling and terms
   
• BASIC SEARCH (Enterprise Interface)
  + Corrects for some misspellings
  + Allows for advanced limiting of results list
  -  Heavier / slower interface
  -  Recent implementation; still being configured
   
• ULTIMATE SEARCH (beta)  (Ebsco Discovery Product)
  + Searches many library databases & Book/Video collection
  + Corrects for some misspellings
  + Allows for advanced limiting of results list
  + Familiar EBSCO interface
  + / -  Defaults to include all District libraries & article databases
  -  Large number of results in mixed format can be overwhelming
  -  Recent implementation; still being configured
  -  Only available to GCC students and employees with eGCC account
