Accessing Databases through the Databases Tab

How Do I Select a Database?

To select a database, go to the database tab on the library home page. This reveals the following three options:

Browse by Subject/Discipline:

The first option on the Databases Tab allows you to pick from a list of database categories. Once you select a category, you will be taken to a page that lists all the databases we carry in that subject area along with descriptions of each resource. As well, if you are using the "What are you Researching?" feature a list of databases in you subject area will appear in this column instead of the drop down menu.

Browse by List:

The two links found in this column are: Databases by Title and Databases by Subject. The Databases by Title link takes you a list of all of our databases, listed alphabetically by title. The Databases by Subject link takes you to a page that lists the databases of the library listed under convenient subject headings.

Search for Databases:

Finally, you can also use the search box under the third column by typing the title of the database for which you are searching.
