Study Spaces in the GCC Library (Main Campus)

 Reservable Group Study Rooms

Located on the north side of the building, these rooms can be booked online or at the reference desk for groups of 2 or more students. Room 103A seats 2-6 students. Room 103B can accommodate 4-8 students. Comfortable seating, table space to spread out materials, white board, and TV monitors perfect for collaborative work.

 Walk-In Group Study Rooms

These study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 2 or more students. Comfortable seating, table space to spread out materials, and white boards. Some but not all of these rooms are equipped with TV monitors. Located throughout the library along the north, south, and west sides of the building.

  NEW! Study Pods (Single)

These phone-booth sized pods are perfect for an individual needing an enclosed and private space. Located on the north side of the building next to leisure reading. See the reference desk for more information.

 NEW! Study Pods (1-2 students max.)

Coming soon! Need a roomier space for one? These study pods are available for 1-2 students maximum. Located on the south side of the building next to the patio, these new pods can be used for individual or very small group study collaborations. One of these four new pods will be reservable.

 Quiet Study Room

Need the calm of complete quiet? This large and comfortable study space was designed for students working individually. No in-person or cell phone conversations allowed. Devices must be set to silent. No reservations required. Located in the north-east corner of the Library.

In addition to study rooms, the library also boasts a variety of general study spaces throughout in which students might work.
