The public entrances, including automated doors for disabled access, are on the east and west faces of the building behind the curved shade walls. How Can We Help You?

Borrowing Materials

Refer to the Borrowing Guidelines.

With Library buildings closed until further notice, textbooks held in the Library Reserve Collections are not accessible. Please work with your instructor. Here is a link to the listing of reserve books the GCC Library has been able to locate online versions of

Reserve items are a separate collection of specific books and various media items that are set aside for a particular course and are available for students to use in the library. Items are placed on Reserve by the academic departments and/or individual instructors. They are available for 2 hours, library use only, and may be checked-out, with a current student ID, at the circulation desk. One Reserve item may be checked out at a time.

Plug-and-Play Library Tutorials

The GCC Library has created a number of Plug-and-Play tutorials and more are on the way! These tutorials are highly interactive learning objects that are able to be uploaded into Canvas courses as graded assignments. So far these tutorials have focused on teaching students to avoid plagiarism and cite sources in APA and MLA citation. Take a look at this Plug-and-Play Tutorial page to see what has been created and learn how you can easily upload these tutorials into you Canvas courses!
