Community Resources
At the GCC Libraries, we are not only here to serve our students and staff but the broader Glendale and Maricopa community as well. Therefore, if you are not a student or employee at the college or the Maricopa District colleges, you can still take advantage of a number of our library resources and services, including:
- Use of the library space and facility (not including study rooms and computers)
- Help and assistance at the library reference desk and service areas
- Free wifi through the open Maricopa wifi network on campus
- Book checkout through our community borrower program (including books in our General, Children, and Leisure Reading Collections)
- Use of online and electronic databases while in the library
Limitations on Services
While most of our services are open to the public, there are a few notable exceptions, which include:
- Usage of study rooms located in the library: Due to the popular demand of study rooms, these are limited to Maricopa students only.
- Computers and Printing: Additionally, the computers and printers in the GCC Library computer labs are restricted to GCC students and staff by default. For additional computer resources and library services, you may also wish to explore the Glendale Public Library located only a short distance from the college.
