Where do you Find Library Information?

Introducing the Library Website 

The library home page is the portal you will use to search for information, find resources, and access online materials. Below are labeled the major parts of the library home page along with a brief description of each part below:

The Research Menu

To the left of the One Search box, is the Research Menu. The Research Menu has several very important links to help you research and learn about the library.

Research Guides

Below the research menu are the GCC Library's collection of research guides. These guides help to provide you with specific research tools for a variety of subjects and disciplines.

Ask a Librarian

The Ask a Librarian chat box allows a person to chat with a real-life librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During our normal business hours, you will chat with a GCC or Maricopa librarian. On off-hours, you will be chatting with a librarian from our chat network.

Below this, is the Contact Info for the library, including our phone number and ways to reach us electronically.

One Search

Located to the right of the Research Menu is the GCC ONE Search box. This search box does a cross-search of both the library databases and the Books and Video catalog. Tabs at the top of the search box allow you to quickly and easily narrow by information type.

Below the One Search box, is a variety of helpful links where you can access Student Resources, your Library Account and a variety of other resources.
